The opening hole at Oak Country can be somewhat dangerous. Trees line the fairway on the left and out of bounds looms on the right. If you can't hit a reliable draw with a wood the best play is to tee off with your 160 to 170 yard club. This will leave you about a 100 yard shot into the green from a fairway that slopes somewhat left to right. The green also slopes quite a bit from left to right so once you get to the green putting can be fairly tricky depending on where the hole is on the green. |
